One year. One Bethesda community. And so many reasons to celebrate.
This September marks one year since Nesfield Performance opened its doors as a personal training and wellness studio in Bethesda, Maryland — and we’re celebrating the best way we know how: by bringing together our clients, friends, families, partners, and the greater Bethesda community for an afternoon of movement, connection, food, fun, and a few surprises.
The event is free and open to everyone. Whether you’ve trained with us since day one, visited us once, followed us from afar, or have never stepped inside our Bethesda studio, we want you to be part of the celebration.
Join us on Sunday, September 20, from 12–3 PM for our One Year Stronger Anniversary Celebration at Nesfield Performance, located at 7832 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland.
More Than a Year of Workouts: Building a Bethesda Fitness Community
When Tiffany Nesfield founded Nesfield Performance, the vision was bigger than opening another gym in Bethesda.
The goal was to create a place where people could build the strength, movement, recovery habits, and support they need to Perform Better in Life.
Over the past year, our Bethesda studio has become a home for personal and semi-private training, massage therapy, physical therapy, recovery, nutrition, and community education. Most importantly, it has become a community.
We’ve watched clients get stronger, move with less pain, accomplish goals they once thought were out of reach, make new friendships, and prioritize their health in ways that extend far beyond the walls of our studio.
We’ve also continued our commitment to the greater Bethesda community through the Nesfield Performance Foundation, Metro Move Fest, free educational events, community fitness programs, and partnerships with local health and wellness professionals and organizations.
That’s what “One Year Stronger” really means to us. It’s not simply about celebrating the growth of Nesfield Performance — it’s about celebrating the people who made that growth possible.
What to Expect at the Nesfield Performance Anniversary Celebration
On September 20, we’re opening our doors and inviting Bethesda and the surrounding community to experience Nesfield Performance in a completely different way.
Walk the green carpet, enjoy food and music, meet local businesses and wellness professionals, explore our studio, and take part in activities throughout the afternoon. And because this is Nesfield Performance, there will definitely be some friendly competition.
Throughout the celebration, guests can expect:
- Fitness challenges, contests, and games
- Health and fitness activations
- Fitness demonstrations
- Food and live music
- Local vendors and community partners
- Giveaways and raffles
- Member appreciation and client awards
- Special anniversary promotions
- Opportunities to experience Nesfield Performance
- Plenty of surprises along the way
And yes — we’re even putting Tiffany in the hot seat for a special roast. After a year of telling everyone else what to do, our clients and team finally get their turn.
Bring Your Friends and Family — No Membership Required
You don’t need to be a Nesfield Performance member to attend.
One of our goals for this celebration is to bring together the people who already make our Bethesda community special while welcoming those who are curious about who we are and what makes Nesfield Performance different.
Come for an hour or spend the afternoon with us. Bring a friend, your family, your workout partner, or someone who has been thinking about making their health a bigger priority. There will be something happening throughout the entire event.
Celebrating the Bethesda Community That Made Year One Possible
Opening our Bethesda location was a major milestone, but the building itself was never the accomplishment. The community we’ve built inside it is.
Every client who trusted us with their health, every person who attended an event, every local organization that partnered with us, every referral, every encouraging message, and every person who walked through our doors has helped shape Nesfield Performance’s first year.
As Founder and Owner Tiffany Nesfield reflects: “Our first year has been about much more than workouts. We’ve been honored to become part of this community and to support our members as they pursue healthier lifestyles. The relationships we have built and the opportunity to give back have made this first year incredibly meaningful.”
September 20 is our opportunity to say thank you — and to celebrate what comes next. Because after one incredible year in Bethesda, we’re just getting started.

The Wellness Architect
From Division One hurdles to Bethesda, Tiffany Nesfield builds a multidisciplinary sanctuary for total health.

For Tiffany Nesfield, the vision for a comprehensive wellness “one-stop shop” was forged through the discipline of elite athletics and a sharp eye for systemic gaps in healthcare. A former Division I track athlete at the University of Illinois, Tiffany spent her youth clearing literal hurdles, but it was a high school research internship at Walter Reed Medical Center that identified the professional ones. While observing the recovery process, she witnessed a disjointed system where surgeons, physical therapists, and trainers operated in silos, often giving patients conflicting protocols.
“That was the ‘aha moment’ that created all of this. I wondered, why are all the professionals not working together?”
This realization led her to draft a business plan for an integrated wellness center while still in high school.
Her path was further guided by a lineage of entrepreneurs; her grandparents ran a shop in the Caribbean, silently instilling in her a drive for self-reliance and community service.
“I believe that if you own your business, you should understand it from the ground up.”
Following her collegiate career, Tiffany lived this philosophy by mastering every facet of her future enterprise. While traveling the world as a professional trainer on the WTA tennis tour, she earned certifications in nutrition and massage therapy. She realized that for a busy athlete or a high-performing professional, having one expert who understands the full spectrum of their health, from strength to recovery, is a game-changer.
The transition to business ownership required immense sacrifice. Before opening her current location, Tiffany spent five years building her brand out of her own home to minimize overhead and focus on her team.
“As long as there’s purpose, I can sacrifice.”
She reflects on the period where she lived and worked in the same space to ensure her vision became a reality.
Opening Nesfield Performance in Bethesda in September 2025 was the culmination of that decade-long blueprint. The facility is meticulously curated to be a sanctuary where personal training, physical therapy, massage, and nutrition coaching live under one roof.
Tiffany’s philosophy is deeply educational, often utilizing a “barefoot facility” approach to help clients understand their movement from the ground up. For her, the reward is in the “click”—that moment a client finally sees the progress she has been tracking for weeks.
“We’re good at identifying dysfunction and the underlying issues. But the real win is when clients start to feel and understand what’s going on in their own bodies—then I’ve done my job.”
Community is the heartbeat of Nesfield Performance. Beyond the studio walls, Tiffany founded the Nesfield Performance Foundation to bridge the gap between fitness and local service.
Through her annual “Metro Move Fest,” she brings together local businesses and residents to foster a culture of collective health.
“We move further together. I feel like we’re happier people when we do.”
Her commitment to the local area is even reflected in her studio decor, which features artwork created by her own clients, further blending professional wellness with personal connection. Reflecting on her journey, Tiffany notes that building her business has taught her the importance of balancing passion with pragmatism. She admits to often taking the “harder road” because she refuses to compromise on the quality of care. Her experience has transformed her from a solo athlete into a grounded leader, dedicated to providing the same elite-level, integrated care to the Bethesda community that was once reserved for the world’s top athletes. Her story proves that with a clear vision and a heart for service, it is possible to create a space that truly empowers everyone who walks through the door.
