Mary Clayton Carr, PT, DPT, has been a doctor of physical therapy for 20 years. Mary never tires of meeting new people and working with others to promote better freedom of movement, function, and pain-free living. After years of practicing her craft and working with various people, she recognizes that the body should be treated as a whole. She believes that each person's body, mind, and soul are integrated and work together, and “cookie-cutter” techniques waste time and money.
Her treatment plans are developed with the individual in mind and utilize a variety of manual and myofascial release techniques to release the tissue and muscles causing pain or dysfunction. Her treatment plans also promote alignment, improve function and advance for pain-free living. These plans allow you to get back to enjoying the activities people love the most.
Mary loves to learn and is deeply committed to expanding her knowledge. She has taken continuing education courses in myofascial release, brain/body coordination, focus, reflex integration, balance, and sensory processing during her tenure. Through her additional training, she has broadened her scope of knowledge, maximizing her ability to treat her clients holistically.
Her techniques have been effective in treating many different conditions, including orthopedic injuries, pregnancy or post-pregnancy-related issues, childhood development issues, sports injuries, headaches, and balance dysfunction, to name a few. Using a hands-on, personalized approach, and with the patient’s active engagement, a wide range of acute, chronic, or developmental conditions affecting people of all ages and stages may be addressed and improved.
Mary graduated from Belmont University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2002 and is a licensed physical therapist in both Maryland and Louisiana. She has worked in many settings, including outpatient orthopedic, outpatient pediatrics, the public school system, acute care, and home health. Mary has treated patients of all ages and interests, from the weekend warrior to the high-level athlete; to the child with developmental delay or disability. She enjoys problem-solving with patients to meet their needs and goals. She will work to develop an individualized, skilled, hands-on treatment plan customized to each client's specific needs and is committed to delivering results to clients in a comfortable, relaxed environment.
Mary enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to new and exciting places, experiencing the outdoors, and staying active. She also enjoys mentoring other parents on raising developmentally diverse children and assisting them in promoting increased independence and function in their children while promoting less stress in their household.

Kelly has been in the customer service industry her entire life. Starting with babysitting as soon as she could! Her service experience includes retail, food service, advertising, interior design and corporate clients. She graduated from West Virginia University in May of 1989 with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She still believes that “word of mouth” is and always will be the best form of Marketing. After working for Marriott Corporation in the marketing department and opening an account at the FDIC, she transferred to the “client side” of customer service as the Director of the Special Services Section in the Corporate Services Department at the FDIC. It was there that she expanded her business skills managing customer service contract operations, contractors, owned facility-related aspects and administered policies and procedures governing the operations. In addition, she had oversight of the Corporate Services Department budget and staffing.
She left her career to raise a family, and recently decided to go back to work. Kelly thrives on being a part of Nesfield Performances growth and is once again enthralled to be serving clients! .
Outside of work, Kelly most enjoys her time with her three children and their dog. Her family and friends are most important to her! She is also an Independent Cabi Fashion Stylist and represents an L.A. based women’s fashion designer, where she loves helping others feel good about themselves. OK, the social gatherings with cabi might be her favorite part of that job!
